OSAS Form Offers Choices and Flexibility With These Key Features
You can change the OSAS Form script file to:
- Print a copy of any form or report with the grid option so that the exact text positions can be seen. Determine what makes this report unique and add that information to the rule file. Then add all the shading, box drawing, and custom text and attributes you like. Suddenly, plain paper forms look great!
- Use any font supported by your printer, including scaleable Courier, Univers, CGTimes, and often many more. Bar code and True Type fonts are often supported. You can also use any symbol set supported by the device. There is no limit other than memory for the number of fonts and/or symbol sets on a page.
- Apply bold and light characters, underlines, italics, and fonts to any region of text.
- Add custom text or text expression - in any form - anywhere on a page to 1/100 character.
- Add shading from 0% to 100% gray in any rectangular region measured to 1/100 character. Box and line drawing thickness is measured to 1/100 character or from 1/300 to 99/300 inch.

What is OSAS Form?
OSAS Form is a new application that allows you to print professional OSAS forms on plain paper using a HP PCL/5 compatible laser or ink-jet printer. OSAS Form uses SDSI’s UNForm engine to produce the graphics around your regular OSAS forms as you print them.

Will OSAS Form print checks or government forms?
OSAS Form does not ship with formats for checks or government forms because checks require magnetic ink printing and government forms must meet very stringent criteria for format and positioning.
Can I add my company logo to the forms?
Yes, you can add your logo provided it is in a bit-mapped file format. You must modify the scripts in order to add the logo because the size of your graphic image may vary.
Can I change the preformatted forms or create my own?
OSAS Form uses a scripting language to define the graphics printed on the forms. You can customize your forms or create your own forms by using OSAS Form's scripting language.
